Here's why I invest my time and money to go to DevLearn
- I love meeting up with my Learning Hero’s
- It’s a great way to see what’s happening in the industry
- I get to learn a ton of new skills that I can use immediately
- I get to talk face-to-face with vendors about their products
- It gives me a good idea of where I am at in the industry
- It’s a great networking opportunity
How was this year’s DevLearn?
Though DevLearn came about at a really busy time in the year, my wife and I packed our bags and headed out to the US for two weeks.
I had a busy schedule at DevLearn, facilitating a ‘Morning Buzz‘ session on ‘How to price eLearning’ and also a session on the Friday Morning on ‘Using Adapt to Create Engaging Learning Apps‘. I was also chosen to present a project I worked on for the TAC call ‘The Fallout’ at DemoFest…and it won, so that was wonderful.
I loved catching up with my two favourite guys in the industry, Tim Slade and John Hinchcliffe. They both inspired me so much and our time together was a highlight of the Conference.
